Occupy! Sagramore?

So I'm sure we've all heard of the "Occupy" Movement.
A very strange prostest, especially because its cause or goal do not seem very straightforward.

The people seem simply express their outrage for our current economic shortcomings due to our Capitalist system.
Yet no one purposes a solution, it is a protest trying to reach-out to the people with power to try and enforce change upon the system.

Now I ask you all, what do you think this protest is trying to do?
Would you join it's cause?
Why won't you ? and what will it take to get you that far?

(PS. let's avoid going into the specifics of what's wrong with the global market economy, as that is endless discussion we will not be able to contribute anything of value to)

It's good they're trying to make a point but i think they should go back to work and let those political people solve the problem. The banks wont stop with it anyway.

Thats sooo silly! If you don't protest, you will have no political rights at all. The problem is that these guys are unorganized and thats because the hall left should be fight against a too capitalistic system. Dont understand me wrong on my opinion is capitalism not that bad, but you have to control the big firms otherwise happens a lot of bad things and I do not only mean banks a lot of concerns do really worse things(googel a bit you will find quit a lot).
They want more control over the big firms, but they are really powerfull.

No, only a "border" between firms and state. That firms cant influence the state. And product and production laws, which are senseful and able to defend people against stupidness of firms, which only want to make money. Something like a controlled capitalism. Pur capitalism is very worse.

These laws come to exist because the United States government (much like the Chinese) does not represent it's citiziens, rather their campaign sponsors.
This is the problem that lies at the root of these proposal coming into existence and even coming before congress.

If you like this sort of thing, check out Mr. Lessig's speech here:"

Let me know what you think ^^

We have here in Germany a system there the most money(in fact everything the big parties need for there campaign) comes from the taxes, BUT quite a lot politicians become after there period of power important businessmans. To show you some examples:
Schröder, SPD(labour), Gazprom

Wulff, CDU(Conservative), loan
